About

Hello, my name is Tammy Davis.

I grew up in the South infused with a universal heart, full of compassion for people all around the world. My feet were ready to wander as I met friends from near and far in college. I read profusely and would often dream of far away places. I felt deeply and desired to know a love that has no bounds.  Sometimes the words flow like a waterfall in spring and at other times, the mind is as parched as the desert in summer. I write and keep writing.  Handwritten journals occupy more space than my CD collection. Over the past ten years, I've gained greater insight into the meaning of true friendship.  One of my dearest friends, Carol, passed away at the age of 53 in the late summer of 2009.  I am thankful that she reminded me to invest in relationships and experience as much of the world as possible while I have opportunity. Perhaps in this collection of thoughts you will discover anew within you the desire to explore new worlds, invest more in your friendships and delve deeper into knowing God who gave me that love beyond measure.
